The City of Goodyear Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a Parks Worker I for a Temporary, Part-time role in Goodyear, AZ. The position involves park and facility clean-up, light landscape tasks, and minor repairs with a focus on safety and LEAN practices. Ideal candidates are self-motivated and able to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A valid driver’s license is required. This is a non-exempt, part-time role with benefits such as sick leave hours based on hours

Formación

• Reading level to understand instructions and SOPs.
• General math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to complete work orders and general correspondence.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs clean-up duties in ramadas, playgrounds, offices, restrooms, locker rooms and sidewalks; power washes graffiti and areas.
• Performs landscape maintenance: digging, planting, irrigating, fertilizing, weeding, mowing, trimming and pruning; manages irrigation and trash receptacles.
• Supports safety and LEAN process efficiencies and works with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
