Job summary

Acuren Inspection in Portland, OR is seeking PAUT/SWUT Technicians to support NDT operations locally. Candidates should have five years in NDT and current certifications in UT, PAUT, SWUT, CR, DR, or related methods.

The role requires safety-conscious inspection execution and occasional travel to client sites. Responsibilities include conducting tests, developing techniques for customer approval, reviewing documents, and preparing concise project reports.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in NDT with UT/UTPA/PAUT/SWUT/CR/DR and related procedures.
• Current NDT certifications in listed methods required.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques complying with safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Identify, track and mitigate risk on client engagements.
• Review inspection data and prepare project reports.
• Perform specialized inspections as needed.
• Coordinate with customers on schedules and problem solving.
