Job summary

Acuren Inspection is seeking qualified PAUT Technicians in Longview, TX. Local candidates or relocations are preferred. The role involves performing PAUT/NDT inspections, developing techniques for customer approval, and ensuring compliance with ASME/API standards.

Travel may be required and supervisory duties are possible. Requirements include a high school diploma, five years in NDT with current certifications, and the ability to interface with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Technical background in NDT (UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) and procedures with five years experience.
• Current NDT certifications in (UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods (PAUT, UT, etc.).
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, adhering to safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Identify and mitigate risk on client engagements; escalate to protect quality, budget and schedule.
• Review inspection data and prepare project reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Perform specialized inspections and may supervise others.
