Job summary

Acuren Inspection in Torrance, CA is seeking PAUT Technicians / Phased Array Technicians to support our NDT operations. Local candidates or those willing to relocate are preferred. You will perform tests using PAUT/UT methods, evaluate results, and prepare client reports.

Requirements include a High School diploma, five years NDT experience, current NDT certifications, and the ability to supervise others.

• Five years NDT experience required.
• Current NDT certifications required.
• Ability to supervise others is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods (PAUT/UT).
• Establish proper examination techniques with safety compliance.
• Evaluate results against specifications and standards.
• Prepare project reports with descriptions, conclusions and recommendations.
• Interface with clients to discuss schedules and problem resolution.
