Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking an on-site Pattern Maker at our Franklin Foundry. You will set up and operate a range of machine tools to create patterns used for sand molds in castings, following blueprint specifications.

You will verify dimensions with precision tools, assemble pattern sections, and ensure quality while maintaining safety standards. Overtime and flexible shifts may be required as production demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; shop math, blueprint reading, and machine tool trades.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-first mindset.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools (milling machines, lathes, drill presses, CNC mills, grinders) to machine patterns.
• Verify conformance of pattern dimensions using calipers, scales, and micrometers.
• Layout and assemble pattern sections using marking tools and measuring devices.
• Verify dimensions of completed patterns and perform related tasks.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and PPE compliance.
• Provide flexibility for overtime and shift coverage as required.
• Follow attendance and punctuality standards.
• Plan layout and machining operations to construct, measure, grind and align to drawings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
