Job summary

Kontoor Brands is seeking an Associate Technical Designer responsible for the full technical development of patterns and specifications from concept to sampling. This role ensures on-time delivery aligned with brand milestones and coordinates with cross-functional teams for production handoffs.

The ideal candidate has apparel manufacturing experience with pattern and construction knowledge, plus familiarity with Browzwear and Gerber Accumark.

Qualifications

• Apparel manufacturing experience with knowledge in pattern and technical product development processes.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end product manufacturing processes.
• Prefer jeanswear bottoms experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on pre-production pattern development and materials finalization within timelines.
• Coordinate with Product Development to ensure on-time handoff to Production Technical Design.
• Implement design/merchandising changes to production and manage workflow in systems.
• Manage fit blocks with 3D pattern design and asset management and follow SOPs.
• Serve as technical resource to cross-functional teams and escalate issues promptly.
• Adopt new skills and training for new technology and tools; support best practices.
