Job summary

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to lead pattern development and technical specifications from concept through sampling. You will manage timelines aligned with brand milestones and ensure packages meet margin and price targets.

You will drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to finalize patterns, construction details, and materials, ensuring a smooth hand-off to production partners and overseas offices.

Qualifications

• Extensive apparel manufacturing experience with knowledge in pattern, technical product development processes.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end product manufacturing processes; jeanswear bottoms or tops preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise on pre-production pattern development and technical construction specifications.
• Ensures on-time pass-off to Production Technical Design team and vendors.
• Maintains up-to-date information in workflows and systems for accurate bulk production.
• Develops and implements fit blocks with 3D pattern design and asset management.
• Drives cross-functional collaboration to resolve pattern, construction, quality and system issues in pre-production.
