Job summary

KSB GIW, Inc. is seeking a Pattern Storage Technician in Grovetown, GA to maintain and organize pattern and core box inventory, ensuring availability for production and safe storage and transport within the foundry.

You will work closely with multiple departments and use physical and digital systems to track patterns and equipment critical to shop operations. The role requires forklift certification and woodworking experience, with attention to detail and ability to coordinate with molding, core

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification required
• Woodworking experience required
• Attention to detail and ability to interact with multiple departments

Responsibilities

• Safely conduct all work and follow company rules and policies
• Use SAP to find and maintain pattern information
• Operate forklifts and cranes as certified
• Review foundry production schedules for conflicts
• Move patterns and core boxes between the foundry, core room, and pattern shop
• Assist the pattern shop with forklift operations
• Maintain and organize pattern storage buildings
• Work with shipping to move patterns to/from offsite storage or customers
• Maintain records of all pattern transfers
• Perform minor pattern repairs as needed
