Job summary

Arhaus Upholstery in Conover, NC seeks a Digitizer – Furniture Patterns to convert current and future furniture designs into precise patterns for automated cutting systems. You will generate Gerber and Accumark markers and collaborate closely with the Cutting Supervisor to keep the production schedule aligned.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience digitizing patterns, proficiency with Accumark and Gerber, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years cutting / digitizing patterns.
• Experience with Accumark software.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate Gerber and Z1 Accumark markers for furniture patterns.
• Work closely with cutting supervisor to manage day-to-day issues on production schedule.
• Generate tracking data to accompany marker packages (marker length/width, material usage, piece counts, bundle codes).
• Provide updated models/markers when design revisions are made to patterns.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

POSITION DETAILS

Job Purpose

Digitize current and future Furniture patterns for automated cutting machines.

Duties And Responsibilities

Generate Gerber and Z1 Accumark markers for furniture patterns; work closely with cutting supervisor to manage day-to-day issues associated with the production schedule; generate tracking data to accompany marker packages, such as data markers including marker length and width, material usage, piece counts, and bundle codes where required. Provide updated models and or markers when design revisions are made to patterns. Other duties as assigned by the manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3+ years cutting / digitizing patterns.

Preferred Experience Requirements

Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred.

Experience with Accumark software.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 15 lbs.

Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Some standing and walking is required.

Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled.

Must have good vision.

Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heal shoes when required.

Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
