Job summary

The New York Philharmonic seeks a Manager, Patron Program to lead two donor communities, Patron Program and Young New Yorkers, and to support engagement, events, and fundraising across both programs. The role works directly with donors, supervises a Development Associate, and partners with the Development team to coordinate outreach and experiences.

The position requires at least 3 years in development, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in development.
• Experience in nonprofit, performing arts, or cultural organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day coordination of the Patron Program and Young New Yorkers, including donor engagement and stewardship.
• Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of donors and prospects.
• Support fundraising efforts and donor communications across both programs.
• Plan and support events and experiences for donors.
• Help deliver a strong, welcoming donor experience at concerts, rehearsals, and events.
• Supervise a Development Associate and support overall program coordination.
• Partner across Development on outreach and engagement efforts.
• Support administrative and database tasks as needed.
