JOB REQUIREMENTS: If you enjoy working outdoors, performing a variety of

activities year-round that help ensure the State and County roads are

well maintained and safe for travel, we encourage you to apply for an

entry-level position as a Patrol Worker/Laborer with the Kenosha County

Highway Division. Duties include: Winter Maintenance Snow and ice

removal Shoveling bridge decks Anti-icing operations Road Maintenance

Sign placement and flagging for traffic control Concrete work and

asphalt paving Tree trimming and removal Drainage work and culvert

installation Pothole repair Gravel shoulder maintenance and repair Crack

grinding and sealing Painting road markings Litter pickup, including

removal of road hazards (animals, wood, metal, etc.) Summer maintenance

responsibilities, including mowing with flail and batwing mowers

Operating a loader in the winter, occasionally Performing other work as
