Outagamie County is hiring a Full Time Patrol Officer to patrol assigned areas on foot or in a patrol car, enforce laws, control traffic, and arrest violators.
Minimum education includes high school diploma or GED and 60 post high school credits; valid Wisconsin driver’s license; U.S. citizenship; and legal ability to possess a firearm. Post-hire testing includes agility, psychology and medical evaluations as required.
Under general supervision of the Patrol Lieutenant the Patrol Officer patrols assigned area on foot or in patrol car to control traffic, prevent crime or disturbance of peace, and arrest violators.
