Job summary

Qualifications

• Education - High School or Equivalent.
• License - Drivers License Class D normal.
• Work Exp 0-3+ years.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Must obtain Class I LEO Certification from the SC Criminal Justice Academy within 1 year from hire date.
• Must complete department Police Training Officer (PTO) Program within 1 year from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned area to enforce state, county and municipal laws for Clemson University security.
• Investigates complaints, interviews victims and witnesses, collects evidence.
• Conducts public outreach and community policing activities.
• Prepares cases for court and testifies as required.
