Job summary

The Caddo County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Patrol Deputy to provide law enforcement services across the county, respond to calls, enforce traffic laws, and collaborate with other agencies. The Patrol Division covers 1,290 square miles and operates 24/7 to ensure public safety for residents and communities in Caddo County.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 21, with a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good driving record.
• Able to pass a background check.
• No felony convictions.
• No domestic violence convictions.
• No active protective orders.
• No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude.
• Must pass a drug screening test.
• Must meet weapon proficiency standards.
• Must be able to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for service and emergencies.
• Perform traffic enforcement and safety patrols.
• Provide law enforcement services across Caddo County.
• Patrol 1,290 square miles across north and south districts.
• Support other agencies within the county as needed.
• Operate as part of the Patrol Division to maintain public safety.
