Job summary

Dodge County Sheriff's Office seeks a Sheriff’s Deputy to protect the motoring public and maintain public safety across Dodge County. The role involves 12-hour patrol shifts, 8-hour contract shifts, and a commitment to integrity and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have a minimum LE background, meet Wisconsin requirements, and are prepared for training and advancement opportunities within the department. The position includes paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School or better in Education or related field.
• Two year associate degree or 60 college credits; must meet recruit qualifications or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age, WI law enforcement certifiable, and have a valid WI driver's license; three years LE experience with two years patrol.

Responsibilities

• Protects motoring public by enforcing traffic laws and investigating crashes.
• Responds to requests for assistance from the public.
• Maintains clear, complete, and concise written reports.
