Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrols the North district in a patrol car to observe for criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Investigates and reports accidents, hazards, and conditions; enforces laws.
• Investigates crimes, interviews witnesses and victims; gathers evidence for court.
• Enforces all felony and misdemeanor laws; makes arrests when necessary.
• Serves warrants, subpoenas, and other official papers; testifies in court as needed.
• Responds to emergency calls and follows safety procedures; provides first aid when required.
• Assists motorists in various situations and checks property for security.
• Keeps firearms and equipment in proper condition; maintains records for evidence.
