Green County is seeking a Patrol Deputy on a full-time basis in Wisconsin. The role involves traffic and criminal law enforcement, inmate supervision, court services, and civil process. A 720-hour LESB-certified academy is required, with a 12-hour rotating schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 720-hour law enforcement academy program certified by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB).
• Minimum age: 21
• U.S. citizen per Wis. Stats. 66.0501(2)
• No unpardoned felony convictions or offenses that could be a felony in Wisconsin
• No domestic violence or domestic abuse convictions as defined by law
• Good character and fitness for duty
• Ability to meet physical performance requirements
• Vision correctable to 20/20
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Residency within 40 miles of Green County Sheriff's Office after probation

Responsibilities

• Patrol traffic and criminal law enforcement.
• Supervise inmates and provide court services.
• Process civil matters and document accurately.
• Operate as part of a rotating 12-hour schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Enjoy opportunities for special assignments (Honor Guard, SWAT, etc.).
