You will patrol designated areas, respond to calls, conduct investigations, issue citations, and participate in emergency responses while pursuing professional standards and ensuring community well-being. A valid driver's license, U.S. citizenship, and GA POST certification within 12 months are required. Starting salary is $52,000 with benefits.

Responsibilities

Enforce codes, ordinances, laws and regulations to protect life and property.
Patrol designated areas and respond to dispatcher calls.
Pursue suspects, issue citations, arrest offenders, and conduct searches.
Conduct preliminary investigations and interview victims and witnesses.
Perform rescue functions, enforce traffic and DUI laws, and use speed detection.
Contribute to safety and well-being of the community within the county.
