Job summary

Qualifications

• GA POST certification required with four years of law enforcement experience.
• Must have completed minimum 1 year in a specialized investigative unit.
• High school diploma or GED with college hours or equivalent training (400 hours of advanced law enforcement training).

Responsibilities

• Conducts criminal investigations and responses to dispatched calls involving narcotics, homicide, theft, and other crimes.
• Enforces applicable codes, ordinances, laws, and regulations to protect life and property.
• Performs other related duties as required.
