Job summary

THE MCHENRY MANAGEMENT GROUP, LLC seeks an Patrol Boat Product Line Item Manager to provide comprehensive item management support for Coast Guard patrol boat operations. The role emphasizes maintaining stock levels, procuring new items, and forecasting requirements to ensure mission readiness.

The candidate will coordinate with Coast Guard SFLC, manage funds within approved levels, and develop procurement plans that account for lead times up to 24 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of recent, relevant experience as an Item Manager with the USCG SFLC.
• Proficient with SFLC computer applications (NESSS, NE-TIMS, FED LOG) and other item-management tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook) and Coast Guard software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Item Management Support to ensure equipment is available to support patrol boat operations.
• Maintain stock levels of Coast Guard peculiarity items to achieve effective service-wide supply support and efficient utilization of appropriated funds; establish and procure new items as required; make long-range forecasts.
• Manage stock levels by projecting stock/store/issue/repair quantities for short- and long-term needs using various reports and factors; ensure items are studied, analyzed, reviewed, or procured as needed.
