Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking Ambassadors to welcome patients and visitors at The Woodlands campus, balancing information duties with patient screening and a friendly, professional presence. The role may involve float moves to Northwest and West Houston on 8-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and customer service skills, with 2 years of experience and a preference for bilingual (Spanish) applicants.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Communications or related field.
• Required: 2 years Customer service experience.
• Bachelor's degree can be substituted for required experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare or hospital experience.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledges and greets patients and visitors and performs health screening.
• Accurately provides information and instruction pertaining to all hospital campus to patients, visitors and staff.
• Maintains a highly professional and positive attitude while dealing with customers and peers and performs multiple tasks as screener, greeter, information desk, in a fast-paced environment.
