Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical terminology training or willingness to complete within six months.
• Experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC registration module is preferred.
• Experience with prior authorization/certification/referral processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient experience by using CARES, AIDET, and EPE tools.
• Resolve complaints promptly and refer to supervisor when needed.
• Coordinate scheduling for labs, radiology, STAT & ASAP, and imaging.
• Obtain prior authorizations and referrals per payor protocols.
• Coordinate with clinicians and manage patient communications and safety.
• Print AVS and verify HIPAA privacy; assist with payments and balance collection.
• Ensure accurate EHR scheduling and documentation; connect with care team.
• Support clinic operations to maximize schedule effectiveness.
