Job summary

TheraDynamics, a therapist-owned rehabilitation company, is seeking a Full Patient Transporter to support residents and patients in the Tri-State area. You will assist with transfers, transports to therapy areas, safety monitoring, and set up/cleanup of treatment spaces.

Responsibilities include equipment upkeep, basic clerical tasks, and maintaining a neat, safe work environment. Healthcare experience is preferred, and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Healthcare experience preferred (advantage).
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated individuals.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented candidates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist unit staff with transfer of residents/patients.
• Transport residents and patients to/from therapy areas.
• Monitor residents/patients during exercise routines.
• Set up/clean treatment areas.
• Assist with cleaning and distribution of wheelchairs.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Assist with clerical duties (copying, faxing, filing, phones).
• Keep work area neat and orderly.
• Ensure safety during transport and in treatment areas.
• Respond to instructions and work with limited supervision.
• Attend mandatory in-service programs and on-the-job training.

Full Patient Transporter Job Description

• Attendsand participates in required and MANDATORY in-service educationalprograms, on the job training programs, etc. as directed and/or scheduled.
