Job summary

TheraDynamics is seeking a Patient Transporter to assist with transferring residents and patients to therapy areas, monitor during exercises, and support treatment setup.

The role emphasizes safety, independence, and adherence to in-house protocols. A high school diploma and healthcare preference are required, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist unit staff with transfer of residents/patients.
• Transport residents and patients to/from therapy treatment areas.
• Monitor residents and patients during exercise routines.
• Set up/clean treatment areas and assist with equipment.
• Support cleaning and distribution of wheelchairs and equipment.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with clerical duties (copying, faxing, filing, phones).
• Keep work areas tidy and safe for residents and staff.

Full Patient Transporter Job Description

• Assistunit staff with transfer of residents/patients as necessary.
• Transportsresidents and patients to/from therapy treatment areas.
• Monitorsresidents and patients during exercise routines.
• Assistswith set-up/clean-up of treatment areas.
• Assistswith the cleaning and distribution of wheelchairs.
• Maintainequipment and make minor repairs.
• Assistswith clerical duties (i.e., copying, faxing, filing, answering phones,etc.).
• Keepswork area neat and orderly.
• Maintainsresidents' and patients' safety during transport and while assisting intreatment area.
• Respondswell to instructions and guidance, finds solutions to work relatedproblems, and completes assignments independently, not requiring constantsupervision.
• Attendsand participates in required and MANDATORY in-service educationalprograms, on the job training programs, etc. as directed and/or scheduled.
