Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Transporter to move patients and equipment safely across departments. The role uses Epic to track patient locations and equipment movement throughout the Medical Center.

Prioritizes safe body mechanics and teamwork with the Patient Transportation Department. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of customer service experience; BLS CPR/AED certification is required.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment between departments within the Medical Center.
• Maintains PAR levels for equipment across locations.
• Uses Epic to track patient location and equipment movement.
