Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Patient Transporter to support patient flow and campus logistics.

You will assist inpatients and outpatients, ensure correct patient identification, and help transfer patients with a focus on safety and care. Responsibilities include transporting patients across hospital areas, moving equipment as needed, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace while reporting any safety concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required at hire.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport in-patients internally to and from different hospital areas.
• Move equipment to and from locations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and report any equipment malfunctions.
