Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Transporter at Royal Oaks Hospital to safely transport patients and support hospital operations on a PRN/As Needed basis. You will collaborate with staff and mentor newer team members while ensuring compliance with safety and transport policies.

The role requires a valid Missouri driver’s license, High School/GED, and completion of CALM/CPR training. Based at Royal Oaks Hospital, this position offers flexible part-time hours and a critical patient-care support

Qualifications

• High School/GED required or preferred.
• Experience in patient transportation or healthcare is preferred.
• Valid Missouri driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients and ensure seatbelt use.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to maintain smooth operations.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new staff.
• Complete required training including CALM and CPR.
• Observe urinalysis collection as needed.
• Report vehicle maintenance and incidents per policy.
• Promote quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of hospital policies and comply with regulations.
