Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Transporter to support patient movement, equipment transport, and specimen handling within our hospital. You will engage with patients, families, and clinical staff, prioritizing safety and compassionate care.

You will lift patients with care, transport them to treatment areas, deliver supplies, and assist with routine duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift patients on and off beds and transport them to treatment areas using wheelchairs or moveable beds.
• Comfort patients and families by offering support and encouragement.
• Deliver equipment and supplies to assigned treatment and patient care areas.
• Pick up and deliver laboratory specimens.
