Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Patient Transporter PRN to join our hospital team. You will assist with moving patients, equipment, and supplies, and help ensure a safe and positive patient experience.

This role involves lifting patients, delivering lab specimens, and supporting families. HS Diploma preferred; BLS required within 90 days of hire. The position supports hospital operations and patient care across departments in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) Required within 90 days of hire.

Our Transporters assist with the movement of patients, equipment, supplies in and around the hospital. What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will safely lift patients on and off beds and transport them safely to and from special service and treatment areas using wheelchairs or moveable beds.
• You will comfort patients and their families by offering support and encouragement.
• You will deliver equipment and supplies to assigned treatment areas and patient care areas.
• You will pick up and deliver laboratory specimens.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) Required with 90 days of hire.
