Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center is seeking a Patient Transporter for the Evening shift. The role involves transporting patients to and from diagnostic testing, room-to-room transfers, and assisting with discharge and admission as directed by nursing and ancillary departments.

Eligibility includes being 18+, with a High School Diploma or equivalent; AHA BLS certification is required prior to end of orientation.

Hours: 12:00p - 10:30p every third holiday/weekend.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Performs activities related to transportation of patients to and from diagnostic testing, room-to-room transfers, discharge, and admission as directed by nursing and ancillary departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• 18 years of age (minimum); High School Diploma or equivalent preferred OR High School Diploma.
• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
