Job summary

Penn State Health in Camp Hill is seeking a Graduate Nurse for the Nursing Resources Float Pool. The role requires applying nursing processes and professional standards to deliver patient-centered care through night shift assignments.

As a 0.90 FTE position, you may work at Holy Spirit Hospital and potentially Hampden Medical Center. A Graduate Nurse with a temporary permit or RN license and BLS certification are required, with extensive benefits and a $10,000 sign-on for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate Nurse with a Temporary Practice Permit or currently licensed as an RN by state of employment.
• AHA BLS required prior to end of orientation period.

Hours: 7:00p - 7:30a, every other weekend

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.

In addition to Holy Spirit Medical Center, this position may be required to work at Hampden Medical Center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Graduate Nurse with a Temporary Practice Permit or currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.

• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
