St. Luke’s Cataract & Laser Institute in The Villages is seeking a part-time Patient Transporter to assist patients and move them within the facility.

The role involves transporting patients between surgery, clinic, and waiting areas while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Candidates should be professional with strong verbal communication, empathy, and the ability to stand for long periods and push wheelchairs.

Mansioni

• Transport patients to and from different areas of the building; from surgery to clinic to waiting areas

Position Summary:

• Transporting and assisting patients around the building
• Able to empathize with patients while remaining professional
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transport patients to and from different areas of the building; from surgery to clinic to waiting areas
• Clean and sanitize waiting area, wheelchairs and frequently touched surfaces
• Assemble patient packets
• Assist with stocking the ASC with materials
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience
