Overview:

Transports patients and equipment within the Medical Center. Performs various patient-related activities as assigned, ensuring safety and proper body mechanics. Maintains PAR levels for equipment throughout the Medical Center. Demonstrates the ability to work well with co-workers within the Patient Transportation Department and other departments. Uses Epic software to track patient locations and equipment movement across the facility.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) program
• Other: The physical demands described are representative of the minimums required to perform all essential functions of the job.
• Preferred Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Experience: Two years of customer service experience
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
