Job summary

MUSC Health seeks a Patient Transporter/Lift Technician to support the hospital's patient movement within the MUSC campus. Under supervision, you will transport patients, specimens, medications, and other items, ensuring safety and timeliness across the facility.

The role involves complex lifts/transfers and educating patients and families on post-hospital transfer techniques as needed. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with 0–6 months of related experience preferred.

Job Description

The Patient Transporter reports to the Patient Transport Supervisor. Under general supervision, the Patient Transporter assists with the hospital based transportation of patients within the MUSC campus. This role provides safe and timely transportation for patients throughout the organization.

Education: High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 0-6months State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position.
