Job summary

Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an on-site patient transport and information assistant. You will move patients and hospital equipment, help keep corridors clear, disinfect equipment, and assist with directions and information for staff, patients and visitors.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Move patients and hospital equipment throughout Froedtert Hospital, including oxygen tanks, specimens and beds.
• Maintain obstruction-free corridors and disinfect equipment per regulations.
• Monitor designated entrances and provide directions to staff, patients and visitors; answer phones and access hospital systems as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
