Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring immediately for full-time Patient Transporter positions at Inova Fairfax Hospital, 3300 Gallows Road, Falls Church, VA 22042. Online applications are accepted only. Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely transports patients and equipment, securing IVs, drainage tubes, and the patient.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock as needed to move patients.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting patients across age groups.
• Ensures timely and accurate transport to destinations using the requested equipment.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, technicians or reception and dispatch.
• Maintains patient comfort by being attentive, offering blankets, and protecting modesty.
