Responsibilities

• Safely and promptly transports patients and medical equipment to destinations within the hospital.
• Stocks and secures patients, IVs, and devices as needed during transport.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock for patient movement.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, and dispatch.
• Maintains patient comfort and privacy during transport; avoids unnecessary conversations.
