Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is hiring a Patient Transporter to move patients using lift equipment and mobilization aids under RN supervision. You will transport equipment, supplies, specimens, and patients, ensuring safe pathways and updating the transport system.

Required: HS diploma and AHA BLS Healthcare; preferred: 1 year hospital experience. Shift is 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with 8/40 hours and every-other weekend; union membership within 31 days of hire.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• AHA BLS Healthcare certification required.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with mobilizing patients using lift equipment and mobilization aids.
• Transport equipment, supplies, specimens, and patients using the transport tracking system.
• Ensure patient safety and coordinate with nursing staff during transports.
• Maintain logs and communicate day-to-day transport status to team.
