Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a full-time Transport Courier to support the Pre- and Post-Operative Departments. You will transport and escort patients to and from beds and treatment areas using safe transfer techniques, assist clinical staff, and help move equipment, specimens, and schedules around the hospital.

No prior experience is required, though hospital experience is preferred. You will maintain clean and safe transport equipment, answer calls, and sometimes run errands outside

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• BLS/CPR certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transports & escorts patients to and from hospital departments and treatment rooms using safe transfer techniques.
• Assists clinical personnel in moving patients to beds, stretchers, or tables.
• Delivers specimens, equipment, schedules, etc. to all parts of the hospital.
• Maintains transportation equipment in clean and safe condition.
• May be required to run errands outside the facility on occasion.
