Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking staff to transport patients, specimens, and equipment within its facilities. You will greet patients and visitors, keep hallways tidy, and assist with basic care for non-acute patients while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification; Crisis Prevention Training must be completed within nine months of hire. The role supports hospital operations across Emory/Houston integration and requires 36 hours weekly

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification and Crisis Prevention Training must be completed within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, specimens, and equipment as assigned.
• Greet and assist patients and visitors in assigned areas.
• Keep hallways and assigned areas neat and orderly by moving equipment and beds to proper locations.
• Assist non-acutely ill patients with basic care and daily hygiene, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.
