Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Florence, SC is seeking a full-time Transporter to safely transport patients across the campus and support movement of equipment. The role includes operating the hospital shuttle and golf carts between parking and the hospital.

Education: High School Degree or equivalent. Experience: 0–6 months. Licenses: BLS and SC driver's license required. MUSC offers state benefits and retirement; Florence location with 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• BLS certification required; SC driver's license required.
• 0–6 months of experience in transport or healthcare setting is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and efficiently across the MUSC campus.
• Position and move medical equipment such as wheelchairs and beds.
• Operate shuttle and golf carts to move employees and patients between parking and the hospital.
• Follow supervision and deliver high standard of patient care.
