Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Florence, SC is seeking a PRN Transporter to support patient transport across the campus, including shuttle runs and golf cart operation. The role requires safety, reliability, and compassionate patient-care focus in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The Transporter reports to the Division Operations Manager and will assist with moving equipment, wheelchairs, beds, and related items as needed, while ensuring timely, safe service for staff and patients.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent.
• 0–6 months experience.
• BLS required; valid South Carolina driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and efficiently throughout the MUSC campus.
• Operate the hospital employee shuttle and golf carts for patient and staff movement.
• Assist with moving and positioning equipment such as wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, beds.
