Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking an evening shift, full-time Cath Lab Transporter to support patient flow and procedural readiness.

You will deliver patient care, assist with admissions, transfers, and set-up, and demonstrate safe use of equipment while meeting competency standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care during admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Assists with procedure room setup and patient set-up for interventions.
• Demonstrates safe and effective use of equipment.
• Communicates effectively with peers, physicians, community agencies and other members of the healthcare team.
• Completes annual competency testing and maintains required certifications.

• Delivers care based on identified needs as directed by the licensed staff.
• Delivers patient care effectively and skillfully.
• Demonstrates competency in managing potential patients risks, i.e. falls, need for restraints, isolation.
• Demonstrates safe and effective use of equipment.
• Assists during patient's admission, transfer, and discharge process.
• Assist with procedure room and patient set-up.
• Communicates effectively with peers, physicians, community agencies and other members of the healthcare team.
• Completes annual competency testing, scoring >80%.
• Coordinates care with other members of the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates safe and effective use of equipment.

Job Requirements:
