Could you be our next Patient Transporter at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA?

Available Shifts: First, second, and third. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required for all positions. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Make an Impact! Provide safe, prompt transport of patients throughout the hospital using the Inter Serve System. Display a polite, service-oriented attitude toward patients and co-workers. Maintain a friendly, efficient, and responsive attitude while performing your duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Transport inpatients and same-day surgery patients to and from various hospital areas using the Inter Serve System, meeting departmental goals.
• Assist nursing staff with transferring patients, stretchers, wheelchairs, etc.
• Maintain oxygen tanks for transportation, including removing and reapplying regulators.
• Redistribute wheelchairs, stretchers, etc., to appropriate units approximately four times per 8-hour shift.
• Ensure confidentiality of records and information, performing all tasks respectfully and confidentially.
• Follow department guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing transport equipment.
• Take special care when transporting patients with drains, IVs, or oxygen.
