Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Transportation Specialist to provide safe, reliable transportation for patients and to support hospital operations. You will deliver compassionate customer service while maintaining high safety standards and professionalism.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, conducting vehicle checks, and documenting activities. A valid driver’s license, BLS certification, and a defense of driving background are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a driver education course from an accredited program.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement).
• Defensive driving course completed within the past two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from scheduled appointments and other approved destinations.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle as appropriate while providing compassionate customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle environment.
• Follow all organizational policies and applicable state DMV regulations.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations.
