Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months van transport experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients in a safe and professional manner.
• Keeps vehicles clean and in working order.
• Communicates with hospital staff to receive data and instructions.
• Inspects vehicle prior to daily use for safety and comfort.
• Assists with transferring and balancing patients.
• Follows patient safety and vehicle safety requirements.
• Uses PPE appropriately for patient and driver safety.
• Notifies staff about changes in patient condition.
• Maintains infection prevention standards and confidentiality.
