Encompass Health Corporation in the United States is seeking a Van Driver to support patient transport and help the hospital deliver safe, high-quality care in a community-focused setting.

You will be the friendly face for patients, families, staff, and visitors, assisting with patient movement and contributing to hospital efficiency, while upholding safety and compassion in every interaction.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the heaviest class vehicle to be driven.
• CPR and First Aid training.
• Previous transportation experience is required.
• Must be 25 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Operates transportation vehicles in a safe manner and complies with all traffic laws.
• Maintains appearance of vehicle and promptly reports vehicle maintenance needs.
• Performs daily and weekly vehicle inspections.
• Lifts and transfers patients appropriately; applies all safety equipment.
• Is competent in CPR and/or handles any patient emergency.

Conocimientos

Valid driver's license

CPR and First Aid

Transportation experience

Educación

High School diploma or GED
