The role includes ensuring safe patient transport, maintaining equipment, and driving performance improvements in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 4+ years of related experience, and certifications such as BLS and CPS where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate’s degree may substitute for up to two years of the required experience.
• If area requires it, BLS/HealthCare Provider Certification must be completed and kept current.
• National Child Passenger Safety Certification (CPS) must be renewed every two years.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily transportation service operations to ensure employees have appropriate equipment and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals.
• Lead team huddles and staff meetings in the absence of the manager.
• Supervise transportation logistics for patients and equipment and maintain equipment inventory and repair records.
• Ensure billing compliance for equipment and manage hiring, coaching, and performance counseling activities.
