Nationwide-Children is seeking a Patient Transporter to provide safe, timely transport of patients, equipment and patient-related items to support physicians, nurses, technicians and therapists. The role requires a High School Diploma and timely BLS certification, with lifting capacities and multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Transports patients to and from designated areas using proper equipment.
• Assists patients in and out of vehicles and ensures safety during transport.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of transport vehicles.
• Monitors and reports changes in patient condition during transport.
• Follows safety and infection control procedures and communicates with healthcare team.
