Job summary

UF Health seeks a transporter to move patients safely and promptly throughout the facility. The role supports basic care, comfort, and safety, while keeping environments clean and organized.

You will help coordinate patient flow among nursing, medical, and ancillary teams, under supervision of nursing leadership. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification, with strong English reading and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Proper body mechanics.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
